Julian Mathew trained as a medical physicist and after working in the NHS, left to join and eventually run the UK office of an Australian cardiac pacemaker business. Thereafter he jointly set up a highly successful distributor organisation supplying UK cardiology and other interventional disciplines with hi-tech single-use devices for over 20 years. The company initially supplied PTCA equipment on behalf of Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, rapidly achieving market domination in this highly competitive field. Similar successes followed in other interventional areas including those supplied by Target Therapeutics and Toray Medical. During this time, he gained significant experience in relation to practices within the international medical device business. He established InVivo Technology jointly with members of the SAB, who are also shareholders in the business. He is CEO of InVivo.

Bill Strachan is an experienced Managing Director in the UK Healthcare Industry, with an extensive knowledge and achievement record of managing businesses in the $100m range. He is experienced in divestiture, M&A and integration, and is well versed in the skills of leadership and communication. Having spent the major part of his career in large multi-national corporations, Bill has recently added experience in operating in small-capitalized plc markets at a senior level. He is a non-executive director of InVivo.

Stephen Terry has 28 years of experience in the medical devices business and was CEO of Lombard Medical from 2002-2005. During this time, the company was privatized after raising £3.2 million net of costs. Following the achievement of reaching key commercial milestones, the company was refloated on AIM in 2005 raising £26.2 million. From August 1999 to November 2002, Stephen was Managing Director of the Cardiovascular Division and Executive Director of Biocompatibles International plc, where he grew the business resulting in the division being sold to Abbott for $230 million. Previous senior executive positions include Chief Executive of PrevNiTech Limited, a company specialising in anti-microbial coatings for medical devices, and before that, VP Marketing Worldwide and New Business Development Director for Schneider, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pfizer Inc. He played a key role in the sale of this business to Boston Scientific for $2.1 billion. He is a non-executive director of InVivo.
